Disclaimer

The things most easily assumed about a site like this, stated outright.

Not a government service

This is a private commercial site. It is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by or contracted to the City of Allentown, its county, or any state agency. Where a department, ordinance or phone number is named on these pages, it is named so you can use it directly — including in the cases where doing so costs nothing and this service would not.

Not the company doing the work

This site advertises and books. An independent operator performs the removal. It keeps no premises, no crew and no equipment, and nobody from it attends a property.

No credentials are claimed

No page here claims a license, permit, bond, insurance policy, certification, membership, award, rating or number of years in business, for this site or for any operator. Nothing here should be read as vouching for anyone’s qualifications.

No prices are published

The price depends on the job, and the operator quotes it before work starts.

Finished walls and ceilings

Recovery is attempted through the access a building already has. Cutting into finished drywall, plaster or a ceiling is not offered as a matter of course, and where a carcass is genuinely sealed with no route to it, that is said rather than worked around. Making good an opened surface is not part of a removal.

Odor after removal

Taking the animal away stops the smell getting worse and removes most of its source. Residual odor from the surrounding material commonly takes a couple of weeks to fade.

Health and safety

Nothing here is medical or veterinary advice. If you have handled a carcass, been bitten or scratched, or found a bat in a room where someone was sleeping, contact a doctor or your local health department.

Municipal detail changes

Departmental scope, phone numbers and hours change. What is published here was checked when written and is not maintained in real time.
